Our client is a small business based in Sydney, Australia. In 2 years, it has experienced significant growth and they are currently looking for 2 interns to lead this expansion.

This is an opportunity to work with an international organisational development consulting practice that specialise in leadership strategy and development. They target mid-level managers to C-level executives.

They focus on three service areas: leadership strategy and development; change and transition; strategic HR and organisational development.

They provide solutions including strategic consulting, facilitation services, learning programs, executive coaching and assessments.

ROLE 1: Marketing/Business Development:

The intern will work with the Associate Consultant to conceive a marketing/business development strategy to build Linkage’s client pipeline and increase the company’s corporate awareness in Australian and New Zealand. The intern will also be involved with constructing business proposals.

ROLE 2: Human Resource/Management:

The intern will work with the Associate Consultant to design customised client course material. They will also be involved in conceiving a library to archive and build up the company’s research on leadership, change, organisational development and strategic HR. A strong research ability and aptitude for learning is desirable.

Value the intern will take from this role:
Interns will be working closely alongside the associate to the Managing Director, and on occasions be working directly with the MD. They will gain exposure and get first-hand experience on how a start-up consulting practice functions. Their daily tasks will give them exposure to the latest research and thought leadership in leadership and contemporary adult learning. Both roles are predominantly an office job.

Learning will be achieved predominantly on-the-job. Depending on their capability, being a small office, they have the opportunity to get involve with other types of work, which we will provide on an ad-hoc basis. Your Skills and Qualifications:

The host employer is looking for a creative, self motivated and enthusiastic individual who can take responsibility for his/her own work and assist this group develop their technological skills, website, in-house communications, and market position by utilizing their own ideas and knowledge.

  • The host employer is ideally looking for a Marketing, IT or Communications intern who can add fresh views and improve communications between the organization’s staff and a younger target market.
