The event is targeted primarily towards 18-24 year olds who are searching for job opportunities without success. Often this is due to them having the wrong strategies in place. The aim of this event is to provide event attendees with a range of tactics ensuring they are more effective in their job search.
The interns required skill set:
We are looking for candidates who have either studied or are currently studying in the fields of Marketing, PR and/or Events Management/ Digital Media / Digital Design. The ideal candidates should have the following skills/characteristics:

• Optimistic attitude
• Ability to influence, listen, and build relationships
• Well organised manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• High level of trust and integrity
• Excellent time management skills, able to work to deadlines

AND/OR

• Introverted people able to focus on intricate detailed backend tasks

A list of tasks the intern may assist with:
Social Media Management:

• Understand social media from an online marketing perspective; including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
• Build audience levels and help generate new demand
• Generate relevant and new content

Event Management:

Assist with the swift running of the event itself through:

• Strong customer service skills
• Working on the creation, implementation and execution of PR events
o This ranges from sending out invites to guests to following up to make sure invites have been received; and to assisting in running the event itself

Promotions:

• Help create brochures and flyers for the event
• Help create campaigns using MailChimp
• Assist with creation of videos
• Hand out information in public areas such as universities to students to help build awareness for the event

Other Duties:

• Assist with the management of website
• Attend team meetings
• Photography;
• Other general duties as necessary
