Brief Description Of Organisation & Brand
Our client is a Human Resource consultancy firm based on the Gold Coast. They specialise in helping employers with their people matters by looking at HR in a different light. They have been operating for just over 2 years and have started to make a mark on the Gold Coast when it comes to Human Resource support for business.Over the past few months they have developed  robust and affordable packages for our clients and are continuing to develop more systems to streamline their clients Human Resource needs. With this increase in offerings they are now needing additional support for the business.

This is a new position for the business as they grow; thus they require a flexible and hands on person who wants to bring their own creative skills and experience in driving a new business forward. The office is a home based office located within a family home. The children are at school during the day. The hours are not the typical Monday to Friday but as per below:

Monday 8am – 2pm
Tuesday 8am – 2pm
Wednesday – 8am – 4.30pm
Thursday 8am – 5pm
Friday 8am – 5pm

Thursday and Fridays you may be out on the road with the owner visiting potential and current clients dependant on work loads.

The interns required skill set:
Part or full qualification in Human Resources – this could include a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) or relevant business related courses.
Understanding of Australian workplace laws including the NES and FW Act.
An understanding of how to read Awards
Intermediate to advance Microsoft packages
Excellent people skills
Excellent ability on computer
A list of tasks the intern may assist with:
Assisting in the production of Employee Handbooks, Contracts, Correspondence, checklists and forms
Creation of a monthly newsletter that contains all the latest in HR and WHS news
Assist in the marketing tasks of the business which includes electronic mail outs and appointment setting
Assist in the creation of our new online platform
Assist in the development of additional online programs
Answering of incoming queries and calls
Assist in the continued business development of Fresh HR Insights
Suggest alternative HR package ideas that would benefit clients
