Our client is one of the largest and most well known magazine groups in Australia. The company sells more the 100 million magazines per year. In fact, 3.3 Magazines are sold every second. This leading magazine company is very large, therefore the intern would work only in one or two leading publications.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

Our client is looking for an intern that have the following skills:

• Content (create, edit, source, research, QA) – Copy Writing, Creative Writing
• Work with this company is suitable for interns with interest and experience in English, Communications, Journalism, and the like with excellent communications skills.
• Intern must have strong writing and communication abilities. No previous work experience in this field required
• Professionalism, self-motivation, administrative skills, enthusiasm and responsibility are a must and great advantage.

Possible Internship Tasks and Responsibilities:

The target markets are entirely different and the intern would get to practice writing to different audiences. The intern would be expected to work in several areas of the magazines to learn the ins and outs of the culture in the featured news room. This is a fantastic opportunity to establish contacts in the right environments.

The intern should expect the majority of the internship to be project-based and also include observation and assistance of the Managers at the Host Company. Interns should also expect some administrative work of a general nature.
