  • Ranging from their early 20s to late 50s, this diverse team has a lot to offer any intern who is interested to work in the IT industry, from administration to technical to strategic and management roles.
  • The intern will follow executives, spend time in an office setting, meet with clients and learn admin procedures.
  • There is room for a lot of guidance, yet we encourage interns to show initiative.
  • The company is increasingly offering e-learning systems.
The interns required skill set:
  • Interests in IT and Business Administration; all majors are encouraged to apply.
  • No previous experience necessary as the company will provide the appropriate training.
  • Good communication skills are essential in order to answer calls and take messages.

A list of tasks the intern may assist with:
Assisting with IT and IT related task such as:

  • Assist with the building of network diagrams, technical details of client systems for use by the company’s own internal support team.
  • Research online software tools for the company’s clients and for internal use.
  • Configure and maintain aspects of the company’s monitoring environment used to look after systems.
  • Respond to support tickets via email and phone as required.
  • Answer support calls and escalate them to the right person within the support team and see them through to resolution.
  • Training is provided.
  • The majority of their internship is project-based and includes observation and assistance of the Managers at their workplace.
  • The intern should also expect some administrative work of a general nature.
