The interns required skill set:
Requirements:

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English is a requirement.
  • Pursuing or possessing a degree in accounting or financial services or another similar discipline;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word;
A list of tasks the intern may assist with:
Training areas may include, but are not limited to:

  • To maintain the accounting records of a portfolio of clients (trades, expenses, accruals, etc.);
  • Cash and Portfolio reconciliations;
  • To produce a daily, weekly, or monthly net asset value for each client in an accurate and timely manner;
  • To develop a professional and productive relationship with clients and coworkers;
  •  To develop your industry and work knowledge in order to further your opportunities and growth;
  • To keep your supervisor informed of any and all issues that could hamper your ability to perform your assigned duties.

  • Insight into the Fund Administration industry including NAV calculation and Share Registry functions
  • Improved client management skills
  • Work closely with the Account Manager and learn how to manage a client relationship
  • Learn financial modelling in Excel
  • Learn a widely used fund administration software
