Requirements:
Intern will join an amazing team of professionals and volunteers dedicated to helping young people triumph over obstacles. The intern should expect the majority of the internship to be project-based and also include observation and assistance of the Managers at the Host Company. Interns should also expect some administrative work of a general nature.
- Assist in writing employment Contracts for multicultural staff
- Event Management
- General project management for improvement of office systems and communications (self driven projects and ideas are highly valued)
- Customer service and phone operation
Qualifications:
This work is suitable for interns interested in psychology, sociology, nursing, and social services fields.
- Must be comfortable and suitable working with children
- Initiative and common sense – be on the lookout for child’s safety and best interests
- Non – judgmental attitude to clients
- Able to relate to children in a manner that is free from religious overtones or moral judgments
- Diplomacy and discretion and ability to maintain client confidentiality and privacy
- Compassion for our kids and family circumstances
- Professionalism, self-motivation, enthusiasm and responsibility are a must and great advantage
