Our client is one of Australia’s leading web development and design firms and specialise in building websites and online stores for small to medium-sized businesses as well as providing a full suite of additional internet-based services such as Online Marketing, Copywriting, Mobile Development, Social Media and Hosting. |
| The interns required skill set: |
|
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
An understanding of front-end mechanics through;
- HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript/JQuery, Bootstrap/Responsive technology
- Open Source CMS, including one of the following:
- CMS Made Simple, Open Cart, WordPress, Magneto or PHP My Directory
- A strong grasp of The Adobe Design Suite, with particular attention to: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (preferably CS5 or later).

Responsibilities:
- Daily use of WordPress, OpenCart and other Open Source Content Management Systems.
- Training on how to move projects through the development process by using streamlined, digital workflows.
- Working alongside our team of designers to build and develop websites onto a CMS, eCommerce or other platform based on approved layouts.
