Brief Description Of Organisation & Brand 
Our client is a full service digital agency working across the online space from advertising and marketing to software engineering. Their agile team deliver the latest technology from apps to sites, SaaS and bespoke software. In parallel they work on a business and commercialisation level with clients with strategic, design, marketing and creative services to round out everything end-to-end a client will require to deliver ideal online and offline results.
The interns required skill set:
  • Interns need to have either a degree in Marketing or IT
  • They should be keen to enhance their skill set in their primary field with an aim to enhance the commercial application.
  • In addition to ensure interns understand the wider scope of online, they should be interested in connecting and understanding the complimentary pathway.
  • If technology orientated we are looking for candidates to grasp the importance of the marketing. If marketing orientated, we are looking for candidates to grasp more of the technical side. This ensures interns better prepared for interviews and future role opportunities.
A list of tasks the intern may assist with:
  • Supporting software IT team in project development
  • Programming and Software development
  • Involvement in strategy sessions and solution discussions
  • Project testing and feedback
  • SaaS platform development
  • Functional specification development
  • Consumer Campaign Software
Value the intern will take from this role:

The role will work closely with multiple team members across IT and marketing to ensure a well rounded and commercial understanding of the industry is achieved. They will have the opportunity to be involved with current projects in-line with their programming and development experience. The roles will include access to project managers and programmers knowledge to assist in growing both programming skills and team interactivity.

 

Although independent work will be the basis of the role, clear direction will be provided for assignments; the goal being for work produced by interns to form modular parts of their projects. Interns will be encouraged to broaden their skill-sets as part of real-world situations. The overall goal is to ensure their is strong skill growth to build confidence for future roles.
